On the 9th November, leading Island technology and telecoms provider, Wi-Manx, will be holding a fundraiser across the Isle of Man to help local charity Crossroads Care raise £5,000 towards it’s £30,000 target as a celebration of its 30th anniversary.
We have coined the initiative ‘Blue Day’ and have launched the appeal with a £500 contribution.
All schools and businesses across the Island are invited to take part in the fundraiser and should wear something blue on the day and make a £1 donation for the privilege. Aside from wearing blue other ways to raise funds might include a cake or craft sale, raffle, fun run or a sponsored walk or anything else that would be fun and inclusive.
Crossroads Care is a non-profit organisation who provides support and services to all carers and individuals with care needs across the Island, no matter their disability, illness or age. As an independent Manx charity, they are the only on Island provider whose main focus is on the carer and they are proud to be the leading provider of emotional and practical support for carers across the Isle of Man.
If you are planning to take part in the day, please can you confirm your participation by emailing Megan Faragher at Crossroads Care firstname.lastname@example.org.
