Covid-19 Update 26th March 2020: Wi-Manx to Cease All Non-Essential On-Site Installations

Covid-19 Update 26th March 2020: Wi-Manx to Cease All Non-Essential On-Site Installations

Following the new measures implemented by the Isle of Man Government, Wi-Manx is henceforth ceasing all non-essential installations that require an on-site visit with immediate effect.

We will, however, remain open for business and committed to supporting our local community during this trying time.

With this in mind, installation and maintenance services that require an on-site visit are still available for critical national infrastructure, key workers and vulnerable persons, with strict measures in place to ensure the safety of the public and our engineers.

We are still able to offer all our usual services that do not require a site visit and will continue to provide maintenance and technical support remotely.

Presently we are still able to deliver equipment but cannot enter the property unless the customer is deemed as critical national infrastructure, a key worker or vulnerable person; this will be decided on a case-by-case basis to ensure we follow correct procedure.

In cases where we are unable to enter the premises, we will leave the package in a secure location and witness collection from a safe distance. Customers can then call our technical support for remote set-up assistance.

If the work is deemed essential, our engineers can enter the premises for direct installation, adhering to strict health and safety procedures to ensure the safety of customers and themselves.

We apologise for any inconvenience cause by this change in policy but recognise the importance of joining the fight against Covid-19 in our community.

From all of us here at Wi-Manx,

Stay safe, stay home and stay connected
