COVID-19 Update 19th March 2020

In light of the latest updates regarding COVID-19, we would like to reassure customers that Wi-Manx is committed to the health and safety of both employees and customers alike and remains dedicated to providing quality customer service.

As a provider of critical telecoms infrastructure for the island, we realise that communication with employees and customers is more important than ever and have thus implemented our business continuity plan to ensure we can continue to provide those critical communication channels and connectivity services during this difficult time for the island.

With this in mind, we have adopted the following procedures:

  • Wi-Manx remains open for business and committed to providing the same level of quality service for both our corporate and residential customers.
  • Adopting the recommended advice from the Isle of Man Government and WHO, most of our employees will be working from home for the foreseeable future.
  • Observing the policy of social distancing, our reception will no longer be manned.

Corporate clients

-We will continue to deliver all products and services vital for local businesses.

-Service will continue to operate as normal through your account managers.

Residential customers

-We are still taking orders over the phone or via email and will continue to offer home delivery.

-Following the policy of social distancing, we have devised a specialised delivery service to minimise in-person social interaction and face-to-face contact.

-Our field engineers have stock readily available at various locations across the Island to ensure the cleanliness of our equipment and minimal in-person interaction. Our engineers can provide additional information regarding delivery, should you require more details.

-Any necessary paperwork can be sent electronically, posted via IOM Post (with return envelopes provided) or dropped into our Wi-Manx post box in the Heywood House lobby.

-Any troubleshooting for existing equipment can be carried out over the phone. If you require any technical support, please call 641188 or email us at support@wimanx.com.

– If your issue cannot be rectified over the phone, we can arrange a set time and day for you to drop off your equipment at Wi-Manx and we will contact you when its ready for collection.
