Wi Manx Announce Expansion of ‘Converged Connectivity’ Business Hubs

Wi-Manx have extended their fibre Metro-network to Analyst House on Peel Road, delivering a fit for purpose connectivity solution for Rose Estates, long-standing client and leading commercial property specialists on the Isle of Man.

Analyst House is the latest popular business hub to be added to the Wi-Manx converged core network, other ‘on net’ business locations include;

  • 50 Athol Street
  • Exchange House
  • Champion House
  • Tromode Business Estate
  • Victory House
  • Quay House

The Wi-Manx ‘Converged Connectivity’ service is ideal for multi-business occupancy due to the scalable nature of the solution. Wi-Manx Metro delivers symmetrical bandwidth from 10Mbit/s to 100Mbit/s – allowing tenants of the building to select and scale their connectivity requirements as and when required.

Julia Erskine, Property Manager at Rose Estates said of the roll out: “We understand that high speed dedicated connectivity is a high priority for island business so it was important to us to have a solution in place. Wi-Manx were the obvious choice for a communications and technology partner because of their best of breed connectivity and first class technical service. From our perspective, deploying this kind of business grade broadband gives Rose Estates and Analyst House a unique position in the local commercial property market as we can now offer tenants high quality connectivity which is directly linked to the Heywood House Data Centre.”

Tenants in Analyst House and other Wi-Manx converged business hubs can also benefit from Wi-Manx’s recently released ‘Converged Connectivity’ product suite – launched to target businesses that are experiencing tech related pain. Wi-Manx are now delivering internet, voice, security, back-up, MPLS, cloud services and colocation – all through one single connection. This brings numerous benefits to island businesses looking to pivot away from legacy telecoms infrastructure and offers businesses more from their telecommunications provider and more value per megabyte.

Rachael Cringle, Corporate Account Manager at Wi-Manx said: “We’re pleased to be extending the reach of our core network to better serve on-island companies and deliver reliable internet connectivity which will assist their business processes.

It’s great to work with a company like Rose Estates. They understand the unwavering thirst businesses have for superior connectivity and the solution we’ve installed in Analyst House will work as a real selling point for them. We’re proud to continue our long, solid partnership with Rose Estates, as Wi-Manx have now been providing services and connectivity to them for over 3 years now.”
