Wi-Manx Wins Customer Service of the Year

Wi-Manx continued their year of success at the 2014 Awards for Excellence by winning the Customer Service of the Year Award. Fighting off tough competition to take the highly coveted prize home, this marks a landmark year for the newly licenced telecoms provider.

Longstanding MD of Wi-Manx, Joe Hughes said of the win:

“Customer service is at the heart of our business. This award is particularly special to us because it is a real team effort. The majority of our staff are customer facing so to win this is a huge credit to each and every one of them.”

Having collected the award on behalf of the team, Joe continued:

“The Awards for Excellence is the pinnacle of business community on the island. The caliber of all those shortlisted and indeed in attendance improves each year and the amount of well wishes we’ve all had since the event has been so amazing. It was fantastic to have some of the team there on the night to celebrate the achievement with. In many ways, this is just the beginning for us.”

“We are set to grow our products, team and presence moving forward and as we expand, we will continue to deliver the best on island customer service experience each time. Congratulations must also go to our very own Jonathan Luckins who narrowly missed out on Young Achiever of the Year.”

Wi-Manx have recently received a full telecoms licence making them the third operator in the Isle of Man. They are set to release a larger product offering in the New Year for home users and businesses alike.
