
VDSL Broadband
VDSL is the latest generation of broadband which offers speeds of up to 40Mbps download and 2Mbps upload.
The speeds you will experience are heavily dependent upon the distance your property is from the nearest VDSL-enabled exchange (The absolute limit is 2KM). The VDSL service also requires a compatible VDSL router.

- FREE Thomson 789 VDSL Wireless Router with VoIP Support (worth £120.00 inc VAT, free on 18 month contract – Direct Debit required.)
- Fixed IP address as standard
- Connection Fee : £78 (inc VAT). This will require an engineering visit for the service installation. A Manx-Telecom engineering visit will be arranged and booked out
- £34.95 inc VAT per month
- Note – “New” Wi-Manx customers will require a recent utility bill & proof of identification when signing up
How to order?
The VDSL service requires an engineer visit to your property to install and make any adjustments to your telephone wiring\sockets. This visit is undertaken by a trained Manx-Telecom engineer at Wi-Manx’s request. Upon ordering the service with Wi-Manx, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time\date for the engineer attend. During this time, you will be expected to be in attendance or you may be charged an abortive visit charge.
