Juniper Networks EX Series Ethernet Switches and MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers Chosen for New Data Center to Support Provider’s Hosting and Cloud Services
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 9, 2011 — Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR), the industry leader in network innovation, today announced that Wi-Manx, one of the Isle of Man’s leading communications and IT solutions providers, serving customers with a wide range of internet, voice and data solutions, has chosen Juniper Networks® EX Series Ethernet Switches and MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers as the backbone for its new state-of-the-art data center and IPv6 network.
Wi-Manx’s Heywood House data center and IPv6 network will feature the latest generation of redundant power systems, cooling technology, access control, high-speed connectivity options and server systems. From the new data center, Wi-Manx will launch a comprehensive range of hosting services including dedicated servers, co-location solutions, virtual servers, cloud hosting, complex hosting, domain-name and e-mail services.
